This has been one of the journeys that I have enjoyed so much. The best part is that this journey has not always been easy, but the people around me helped make it work. Zack especially has been very helpful because he never gave up on me. Because of his support, I was able to get the help I needed, and I am very grateful for that.

I am also very thankful for Rebecca, Madison, and Andrew because they have all been very helpful throughout my journey as well. They made me feel supported and helped me along the way.

Once again, I am very grateful and happy that I had the opportunity to be part of Forrest Behavioral Health Center. I truly appreciate all of the support and help I received during my journey.

Forrest has forever changed the projection of my life. I attended treatment here for 10 months. Every single staff member is dedicated to their patients wellbeing and success in recovery. I’ve been in therapy and other treatment programs in the past, including a different PHP program where every patient lasted 3 weeks before being sent on their way. The reason I attended Forrest for as long as I did was because I needed to. I needed the intensive routine, care, and combination of individualized support and immersion in a group setting with others also receiving help. Every therapist has their own approach. The diversity of modalities and lessons helped me see my recovery in both big picture and manageable every day wins. Leaving Forrest was bittersweet but I feel confident I can return to the workforce and real life a much healthier version of myself. As long as you’re willing to show up, get vulnerable, and do the work, they’re willing to help you in truly any and every way. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Forrest 🌲🤍

To put it simply: thank God for Forrest.

When I arrived at Forrest, it was about two weeks after I woke up in the ICU on life support.

Graphic? Yep. But real.

I left my first year of college with a pretty unhealthy relationship with alcohol and binge drinking, which quickly snowballed into me becoming really good at making horrible life choices.

Did I feel “ready” to heal or to get better?

Absolutely not.

Honestly, I would’ve preferred if everyone had just stopped asking me how I was feeling. (Spoiler alert: not great.)

And because apparently self-sabotage was a full-time hobby, I made plenty of decisions during the beginning of my time at Forrest that set me back instead of moving me forward. I kept trying to convince myself I was the exception to every piece of advice they gave me. Turns out… I wasn’t that special.

But the staff, never bought into my nonsense.

They wanted me to get better, even on the days I had absolutely zero interest in getting better myself. They called me out, challenged me, and handed out reality checks like Oprah handing out cars.

I’ll be honest, I hated some of those conversations in the moment. I rolled my eyes. I argued. I was convinced they just didn’t get it.

(but turns out they did.)

Looking back now, every uncomfortable conversation, every boundary they held, and every time they refused to let me settle for surviving instead of living is a huge part of why I’m here today able to move back across the country for my second year of college.

Healing wasn’t some magical overnight transformation. It was messy, frustrating, and at times felt like taking one step forward and two steps back.

But somewhere along the way, Forrest helped me realize that maybe, just maybe, life was worth sticking around for.

And for that, I’ll be forever grateful. I highly recommend forrest to anyone struggling with their mental health, sobriety, and/or daily living.

I had a very positive experience with this program. The group facilitators were supportive, created an environment where I always felt respected, and shared practical tools that I know will continue to help me.

I also want to thank Will for all of his help throughout the process. He was always responsive, kind, and made everything much easier to navigate from start to finish.

I recommend this program to anyone looking for professional, compassionate support. I'm grateful for everything I learned and appreciate everyone who helped make this a positive experience.

My experience with Forest Behavior has truly been one of the best decisions of my life. From the very beginning, they created a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where I felt comfortable working through both my mental health and addiction.

The staff genuinely cared about my well-being and gave me the tools, encouragement, and support I needed to grow and heal. They treated me with kindness, respect, and understanding every step of the way.

Called on a Sunday to get information for someone and was simply amazed at the level of care and concern from a staff member Nick. After discovering the insurance would not work there he still went above and beyond to provide any assistance he could to help the situation! Just don't get that type of service much anymore so can only imagine the extent they go to with their patients there.

My partner and I have been seeing him for couples therapy during a really difficult time in our relationship. He does a great job creating space for both people to talk without just taking sides or blaming one person.

The sessions aren’t always easy, but they’ve helped me better understand myself, my partner, and the patterns we get stuck in. I appreciate that he asks real questions and helps move the conversation forward.

I’d recommend him to couples who are trying to work through that really hard stuff!

Forrest was instrumental in my recovery. The clinicians and staff were always on point, understanding, knowledgeable and compassionate. Forrest has truly changed my life. Every therapist and staff member was exactly what I had always hoped to find—compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive. I stayed for as long as my insurance allowed because I didn’t want to leave the amazing groups or the invaluable skills and tools I gained during my time there. They prepared me so thoughtfully for the transition, and while leaving was bittersweet, I feel confident and ready thanks to everything I learned. I’m deeply grateful for the care and guidance I received.

The most amazing staff. I have never met a group so dedicated to helping their clients. Honestly feel blessed to have met them. The program and staff are so welcoming it makes you feel like you’ve known them forever.

Great program for those that struggle with mental health and substance use disorders. I grew up in this area and there wasn’t much offered when I was struggling years ago it’s great to see a good program available to those in need. Owners are great guys very involved and down to earth and have lived this through their own experiences which puts a nice touch on the program itself. Highly recommend!

I was a client for just over four months, and I can honestly say that it's the best PHP/IOP program I've been in. The groups were well-run, informative, and did a great deal to open my mind and clear up some of my mental blocks surrounding my struggles. The individual therapy was incredibly helpful as well. The case management team worked quickly to help me with insurance and benefits, and found a sober house for me when I decided that was the next step.

I never want to need their services again, but I 100% would encourage anyone looking to kickstart their recovery to look at Forrest.

Wonderful staff and great program! Can't say enough wonderful things about everyone here. Very knowledgeable and skilled at helping with every aspect of the process. It was my first time in treatment for addiction and they were very communicative and helpful. They focused not only on the addiction side of my treatment but the mental issues that lead to me chosing my substance.

The facility and program are great but the people who operate it are even better. I spent 3 months in a hybrid in-person/remote program that allowed me the flexibility to participate while managing other responsibilities. I found myself looking forward to the in person days where I’d have the opportunity to interact more personally with the staff and others who were in the program. People were there for a host of different reasons and the staff handled it exceptionally well with the underlying goal of just wanting to see everyone better themself. If you’re willing to make the effort this program and its people are ready to help.

This place is the real deal. I was here for about 3 months. Every single one of the staff is really invested in your recovery and helping you with your life. When your not having a good day or something is off they notice it right away and do anything they can to help. They helped me get my life back on track and checked in with me every single day to make sure I was doing what I needed to do. It was never about money at all with them like it is at other places. I have been gone for an about a month now and I have had multiple people check in on me just because they care. If I didn't have the resources to get help again they would make it work. Your first day there they will make you feel extremely comfortable and the place is very nice and clean. There is truly no other place like this. 10/10
