Forrest Behavioral Health

Recovery that works around your life, not against it. Forrest Behavioral Health’s Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for working professionals, students, parents, and caregivers who need real, structured treatment—without stepping away from their jobs or family responsibilities. You can get evidence-based counseling and therapy in the evening and still be present for work in the morning and dinner with your family at night.

Treatment After Hours, Built for Busy Lives

Many people who need help for substance use or mental health delay treatment because they simply can’t take time off during the day. Careers, childcare, and household obligations don’t pause for recovery. Our Evening IOP removes that barrier. Sessions are scheduled after the traditional workday so you can attend consistently while maintaining your daytime commitments.

With our evening schedule you can keep your job and your income, be home for your children during the day, avoid disruptive gaps in your daily routine, and protect your privacy while still receiving the clinical intensity of a true intensive outpatient program.

What You Can Treat in Our Evening Program

Our evening clinicians provide the same comprehensive, individualized care available during the day. You can seek counseling and therapy at night for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Substance use disorders — alcohol, opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines, cannabis, and other drug dependencies
  • Mental health conditions — depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, and stress-related concerns
  • Co-occurring (dual diagnosis) conditions — when substance use and a mental health condition happen together and need to be treated at the same time

Treatment is delivered through individual therapy, group therapy, family support, relapse-prevention education, and medication management when clinically appropriate—all available in the evening.

Who the Evening IOP Is For

This program is a strong fit if you are a full-time employee who cannot attend daytime treatment, a parent or caregiver who is home with family during the day, a student balancing classes and coursework, or someone stepping down from inpatient or day treatment who still needs meaningful clinical support. It is also ideal for anyone who wants to begin recovery discreetly while continuing their normal daily life.

A Schedule That Protects Your Career and Your Family

Because sessions take place in the evening, you can continue earning an income, keep your daytime hours open for childcare and household responsibilities, and maintain the stability of your everyday environment—which is often where lasting recovery skills are practiced and reinforced. You get the intensity of structured treatment with the flexibility real life requires.
