Acton resources and local context

Acton and its neighbors are family-oriented suburbs with excellent schools and a lot of pressure to keep up appearances, which is part of why people from this area often put off treatment. We see parents dealing with depression, anxiety, and alcohol use; young adults who have returned home after a difficult year at college; and professionals commuting to Boston or the Route 128 corridor. We coordinate with Emerson Hospital in nearby Concord for people who need medical care alongside treatment, and with Acton-area therapists for aftercare.
