Newton resources and local context

Many Newton clients come to us from Newton-Wellesley Hospital or a Boston teaching hospital after an inpatient stay, looking for a step-down that is closer to home and less chaotic. We coordinate discharge planning directly with hospital social workers. Newton is also home to Boston College and Lasell, and we work with students and their families, as well as parents of adult children who are trying to help from the sidelines.
